Recorded credentials
- 1 recorded as customs-registered
- Registration with China Customs lets a factory export in its own name rather than through an agent. We hold this flag for part of the catalog only, so treat it as a positive signal where present rather than as a complete list.
- 35 recorded as High-Tech Enterprise
- A Chinese government status carrying tax benefits, granted on R&D spending and patents held. It indicates in-house development rather than assembly.

Buying personal care products from China
Written from the sourcing work we do, not from the suppliers listed above.
- How do you tell a real manufacturer from a trading company?
- A genuine cosmetics manufacturer holds a Chinese production licence (化妆品生产许可证) and runs a clean room built to GMPC practice. Ask for the licence number rather than a certificate image.
- What certification is needed to import personal care products into the EU or US?
- The EU is the hard gate: CPNP notification, a Responsible Person established in the EU, and a Cosmetic Product Safety Report. None of it can be done by the factory alone. Since MoCRA, the US requires facility registration and product listing with the FDA.
- What order minimums and tooling costs should I expect?
- Filling lines want 3,000–10,000 units, but packaging tooling usually sets the real floor. Using the factory’s stock packaging cuts the minimum sharply on a first order.
- What goes wrong most often in this category?
- Formula drift between the approved sample and production, and preservative systems that fail challenge testing. Keep a retained sample and reference the exact formula code on every purchase order.
