Where our data comes from

Most supplier directories tell you their listings are verified. Ours are not, and saying otherwise would make this page worthless. Here is exactly what we hold and how we got it.

Sources

• Bulk imports of industry directories and public listings.
• Company websites, where a factory publishes its own product range.
• Product lists extracted by a language model from the above. These carry no separate confirmation and are the least reliable part of the dataset.

What we do not do

• We do not check each record against a registry before publishing it.
• We do not generate company descriptions with an AI at page load. Everything you read is built from stored fields, so the same profile reads the same way tomorrow.
• We do not publish personal contact details — names, phone numbers, emails or WeChat IDs of individual employees. Publishing them would be unlawful.
• We do not sell placement. No factory can pay to rank higher here.

What is computed rather than reported

Nearest export port and typical transit times are derived from the factory's province. Operating history is derived from the founding year and registered capital. These are calculations over stored fields, offered as context for your own judgement — never as an assessment of a company.
